Presidents Day Trip and Brambleberries!
This past weekend we took the boys out to visit my Dad (Papa) for a couple of days. Not only because we just like to visit regularly but it was Dad's birthday (the big 6-0!!). On Monday, we all took the boys to the Higgins Armory Museum. What a fantastic place! If you even remotely enjoy things midevil or knights, swords and the like, I highly recommend it. Plus on the 2nd floor when the little ones have had their share of reading and looking at things they can't touch there is a wonderful room full of things they can do and touch and play with. There are also organized activities at nominal fees. The boys made their own shields. :) A happy day.
I also just *had* to snap a picture of some preserves in the gift shop ... after all they were full of:
Brambleberries!!! :)

I love it!
I was mightily surprised when the Trademark and Patent office informed me that my trademark "Bramble Berry" might be in jeopardy because a brambleberry was "any berry that falls from a thorny branch."
So, the jam could be raspberry, blackberry, marionberry or a few other berries.
=)
