How did this end up? I'd love to hear how it went.
It went really well all things considered. All things being that this was our team's first year so we were new and disorganized. We are also "Team Walk the Fire" ... a fire department team since my husband and I are both members of the fire department. Which added the complication of us "losing team members" because it was so hot out the day of the walk, that the American Cancer Society asked for us to bring an engine to spray water to keep people from getting too hot. So we ended up barely having enough to keep someone on the track, never mind man a booth to sell things. But we still managed to donate just under 1,000.
