Oh boo

I couldn't make the Handcrafted Soap Makers Guild, Inc's conference this year because at that time I was still recovering from surgery. It was in Vermont, within driving distance, so I was really saddened about missing the opportunity. I thought I could go in 2009, though. Then I found out that the 2009 conference is in CA. I figured that would be out of reach financially speaking not to mention scheduling wise with my boys and all. I was frusterated at missing the opportunity but it was a passing thing. I just got an email ... the key note speaker? Erin Brockovich. I am upset I will miss one of my favorites! Just for giggles, I checked out the hotel ... $300/night ... so about $1000 in hotel alone. Blah, I will have to sit this one out.
