Bath Cake Boutique

Here's where I ramble about Bath Cake Boutique. The products, the formulas, or whatever. Also probably a smattering about my sons, husband, and life in general.

Update

Wow! So what a first review! :) The last note to all my wonderful Bath Cake clients was sent as I left with my family for camp, so it was a bit hasty. In any event, Bath Cake was reviewed by Beauty in Real Life and they really like the products! If you'd like to take a read for yourself the review can be found at: http://beautyinreallife.blogspot.com/2008/08/bath-cake-boutique.html

Just in time to send off with those returning to college (especially in hard water areas) or just because you're sick of big bad chemicals Bath Cake is happy to announce a brand new product -- laundry detergent! Right now it is available in unscented and in lavender. In my testing of the laundry detergent, it seems to me that the lavender does a nicer job softening fabric than the unscented, but both clean remarkably well. I should probably note here that all testing was done on a high efficiency washer. I tested on everything I could find, delicates, whites, brights, darks, blankets, sleeping bags, and my son's football gear "fresh" from practice in the mud - the works! You will find the laundry soap on the limited edition page for now. Though work is progressing on a whole new line of products in the home cleaning area - stay tuned!

Speaking of scents ... there are a myriad of new ones for you to choose from in all your favorite bath products! Here they are:

Chai Tea -- A wonderfully warm and comforting drink is now a fun scent as well! This is a sweet, buttery fragrance with a touch of spice. It has traditional Earl Grey Tea with its delicious citrus hints of bergamot and Sicily lemon along with a base of nutmeg, cinnamon, Tahitian vanilla and a little bit of allspice.

Pearberry -- A luscious fruity combination of pears, melons, raspberries and blackberries.

Rich Orient – A deep, sensual Oriental floral amber scent. Mandarin leaf and orange blossom greet your nose accompanied with a night floral, Bulgarian rose, and vetiver … hints of sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, and tonka bean finish off this wonderful scent.

Baby Rose – Petite baby roses that come in the tiny little planters are what will fill your mind as you take in this light, gentle rose.

Green Garden -- This is a fresh green smelling slightly spicy fragrance with notes of violet, jasmine, bitter orange, lemon and a hint of musk.

China Rain – A light, sweet floral with hints of melon and cucumber. The lightness of this floral is supported with musk and amber. A delightful floral.

As always, if you don't wish to get Bath Cakes updates, please simply reply to this email saying you'd like to be removed from the list and you will be removed immediately! No information is ever sold or shared with another company or organization.

The buy 5 get 1 free bath cake special is still running - be sure to take advantage of this great special! Look for some "whole loaf" pricing of special soaps coming soon as well.

Bath cakes and/or soaps make delightful party favors for any occasion! Please feel free to contact me if you have custom decoration or party needs.

Sweet bathing,
Erin
