Hudson miracle

It really can't go without comment. The US Air flight that came down yesterday into the Hudson river was truly a miracle. The pilot and crew were amazing and getting 150 or so people safely off a downed aircraft in icy water - well, wow, just wow. That it was so close to us physically I guess makes it all the more heart wrenching.

Working on some great new things to be added to the web site. First and foremost will be some Valentine's Day goodies of course! Look for soaps and dressed up bath cakes.

Also ... I've had an idea for a while and now a customer request or two, so ... very soon I will be releasing a "box of the month" club. Where you can buy special gift boxes to savor or to give each month. Yay!

Another new addition coming soon will be the "big basket" this I designed for a very special customer over Christmas. She gave them to everyone she knows, I think! Well, today someone else asked for something similar so I will be looking to add it as a regular ongoing product, as well.

Connecticut Women's Forum

I went to the Central Connecticut Women's Forum, North Chapter January meeting last night as a guest. It was really great! I met so many fantastic women doing a great number of exciting things. It was a wonderful way to connect outside of my own little community. I will be joining as they are running a membership special this month, anyway!
